Conductancia Diferencial Y Estados Cuasiligados De Un Contacto Sobre Una Interfase Metal Normal-Superconductor
We calculate the differential conductance of a N1IN2S junction (N: normal metal, S: superconductor, I: insulator) where the N1 region is a quantum point contact and the NS region is a plane junction. In this system quasibound states appear in the normal region N2, which are caused by multiple Andreev and normal reflections that occur in the interfaces. The Bogoliubovde Gennes equations are solved, and we determine the electron-electron and electron-hole reflection coefficients in the N2S interface. From these coefficients it is found the differential conductance of the system, which exhibits resonances when the applied voltage changes. The energies for which these resonances appear are related to the existence of quasibound states characterized by their energy and lifetime. The lifetime depends on the strength of the contact and is finite due to the diffraction of quasiparticles in the contact.
